Volunteering and Continuous Learning

For the second year, the BVB Group attended the Future Proof Conference in California. It was a great opportunity to stay up-to-date with industry trends, learn about new advances in the AI space, and network with current vendors and potential new ones to improve and expand upon our offerings for our clients. Since its launch in 2021, Future Proof has become the world’s premier event brand in the wealth and investment management industry.

The last two years, the BVB Group has volunteered at the RMH to help assemble lunches and snacks for the residents.

Each year, the RMHC provides at least 2.7 million overnight stays, helping families save $736 million in lodging and meal expenses in 2023 alone. The BVB Group is proud to help out such a great organization!

Our team was fortunate to attend the 2024 Future Proof summit held in California. We used this opportunity to network and continue to educate ourselves on upcoming technology, financial planning, and AI advances, to name a few. Future Proof attracts over 5,000 attendees annually and has the highest concentration of wealth management CEOs, CTOs, COOs, and top-ranked financial advisors of any wealth management event in the world.

The BVB Group made and assembled lunch and snack items that are provided to families staying at RMH. 

In the early 1980s, a small group of dedicated volunteers set out to build the first Ronald McDonald House® in Wisconsin because families had no place to stay while their seriously ill child was being treated at Children’s Wisconsin. Since then, RMH has been keeping families together by providing nearly 55,000 family stays.

Curt, Rachel and Jennifer were fortunate to attend the grand opening of the expanded and modernized Baird Center. It was an unforgettable evening that supported the United Performing Arts and the United Way. Two organizations that the BVB Group actively support.

Ashley Brown volunteered to cook and serve a meal at Ronald McDonald House for Baird Gives Back Week. 

Volunteers are the heartbeat of RMHC, helping to offset costs and allowing the Charity to direct more donations to services supporting children and their families.

In 2023 our office branch supported Zachariah's Acres; a non-profit 48 acre farm for children and families with special needs- www.zachariahsacres.org

In addition, we made and delivered lunch to The Hope House, a local non-profit serving the basic needs of those in Waukesha County - www.hopecenterwi.org

From planting trees and sandwich making and delivery, our team dedicated a day to giving back.

The Waukesha County Community Foundation recently highlighted Curt as their #Boardmembermonday.
