Rick believes that the most value you can provide to a wealth management relationship is finding solutions to client’s unique situations that come during the planning process. He does this by striving to develop close relationships with clients and providing a network of experts to support a holistic financial picture. Rick has developed that skillset by having over 16 years of experience at Baird, in addition to further education and training he has accomplished during his career.
In 2019 Rick earned a certificate in Wealth Management Theory & Practice from the Yale School of Management which allowed him to earn his Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation. This designation focuses on issues high net worth investors and business owner’s face when they are working through complex tax, estate, investment and equity compensation situations. Prior to that, he completed the Certificate Program of Financial Planning at DePaul University and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. His alma mater is the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he graduated cum laude in 2007 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. During school, he joined Baird in 2006 in the Finance Department as an intern and subsequently transitioned to Waukesha Private Wealth Management upon graduation.
Rick serves as the Board President of the Adaptive Community Approach Program in Waukesha and is an active member of the Waukesha Rotary Club. Rick and his wife, Jessica, live in Waukesha with their three children, Charles, Henry and Eloise along with their dog, Dexter. When there is spare time, he enjoys his free-time by playing golf, exercising and traveling as much as possible.
