Curt Brewer brings more than 25 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions. As a Managing Director with Robert W. Baird & Co., he specializes in comprehensive wealth management, tax-efficient investing, charitable giving strategies, risk management, and advanced estate and trust planning.
Curt’s unique perspective is shaped by a multidisciplinary background in law, business, and finance. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, followed by both a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Marquette University. Prior to joining Baird in 2001, Curt practiced law with a focus on estate planning and tax-related matters, experience that continues to inform his holistic approach to wealth management.
A Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Curt is committed to helping clients align their financial resources with their long-term goals and values. In 2026, he was recognized by Forbes as one of Wisconsin’s Best-In-State Wealth Advisors and was also named as part of a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management Team.
Beyond his professional work, Curt is actively involved in the community through the Marquette University Business Administration Alumni Association, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, and the Waukesha County Community Foundation.
Outside the office, Curt enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He lives in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with his wife, Carri, and their dog, Pierre.
